Bacon Jalapeño Smash Burger
Crispy, juicy smash burgers with smoky bacon, spicy jalapeños, melty pepper jack cheese, and a creamy burger sauce. Cooked on a griddle and served on toasted brioche buns.
For the Burgers:
- 2 lb ground beef 80% lean
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 red onion thinly sliced
- 6 brioche burger buns
For the Toppings:
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1-2 fresh jalapeños thinly sliced
- 12 slices pepper jack cheese
- For the Smash Burger Sauce:
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp pickle relish optional
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp hot sauce optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
Assemble Burgers:
Spread sauce on the bottom bun, add a cheese-covered patty, then top with bacon, sautéed jalapeños, and onions. Place the top bun.
