Grilling: The Early Years
Some of my fondest childhood memories are of the hours spent with my family, around our back yard grill. Whether we were cooking up platters of grilled chicken, burgers or ribs, it was a special time. Because in my family, grilling isn't just about making a delicious meal together. We also focus on spending time together, bonding and creating life long memories.
The joy and memories of my childhood years followed with me into the U.S. Navy. It brought me immense joy to bring that same atmosphere to my new set of brothers and sisters. In between deployments, I built camaraderie with my fellow service members from behind the coals of my grill.
